talk-topic 4: crossrides of BT09

ok so basicly i wanted to talk about the new crossrides for bt09 : the circuit crossrides.

so with that said lets go into discussing them shall we?

first up the newest one to get its effect Goddess of The Sun, Amaterasu.



[AUTO](VC): Limit Break 4 (This ability is active if you have four or more damage):[Counter Blast (2)] When this unit's attack hits a vanguard, you may pay the cost. If you do, search your deck for up to one «Oracle Think Tank», reveal it to your opponent, put it into your hand, and shuffle your deck.
[CONT](VC): If you have a card named "CEO Amaterasu" in your soul, this unit gets [Power]+2000.
[CONT](VC/RC): Leader (If you have a unit with a different clan from this unit, this unit cannot attack.)

so its a LB4 CB2...and HAS TO HIT THE VG. when u do u can search for an OTT and shuffle deck. to me i think this card is very situational but can have an offensive side to that effect. first...it lets u search for ANY OTT from deck meaning u can add chocolat for future turns if u know ur gonna need a perf guard later on. or u can add a card such as battle sister souffle for high front row atk power. it all depends on its use in the game..do u need to defend or atk??

next....Radiant Lion, Platinum Ezel



and its effect : [ACT](VC): Limit Break 5 (This ability is active if you have five or more damage):[Counter Blast (3)] Choose up to five of your «Gold Paladin» rear-guards, and those units get [Power]+5000 until end of turn.
[CONT](VC): If you have a card named "Incandescent Lion, Blond Ezel" in your soul, this unit gets [Power]+2000.
[CONT](VC/RC): Leader (If you have a unit with a different clan from this unit, this unit cannot attack)

ok...this one....is a soul saver on steroids XD. this effect is almost extremely broken seeing as how easy it is to get 5 rears with GP. but the thing is...limit break ''5'' cb3. with this kind of limit break ur limited to only being able to use incadescent lion's limit break only once and only being able to only use radiant lion's LB only once a game. Some people would consider this card a final turn type card but it can also be a ''kill all in hand'' card as well. though unlike soul saver...it doesnt activate as soon as it hits the field so if u crossrided this unit u can save ur limit break and start killing ur opp hand before using it..giving u a higher chance to get ur atks to hit the opp vg. very awesome card in my opinion


third: Super Beast Deity, Iluminal Dragon



[AUTO](VC): Limit Break 4 (This ability is active if you have four or more damage):[Counter Blast (3)] When this unit attacks a vanguard, you may pay the cost. If you do, choose up to two of your rear-guards with "Beast Deity" in their card name, and [Stand] them.
[CONT](VC): If you have a card named "Beast Deity, Azure Dragon" in your soul, this unit gets [Power]+2000.
[CONT](VC/RC): Leader (If you have a unit with a different clan from this unit, this unit cannot attack)

this card doesnt really need much discussion but i'll try anyway.

i suppose this card is very useful in a full beast-deity deck. it doesnt require u to ''hit'' the vg but just simply atk it. its actually just a stronger version of navalgazer only difference is that naval need u to hit to stand 2 rears. If ur runnin stands...which is sorta crazy for u not to :/ u can replenish all of ur atks at stronger power than before.

now for the Xrides that dont have there effects yet

first up Blue Storm Supreme Dragon, Glory Maelstrom



i dont care what u guys say...this card's artwork is badass and will make this legendary clan even more powerful than before MWUAHAHAHAHAHA

i have a few guesses on its effect and u guys feel free to guess as well.....even on the others below

but my guess :

If you do, draw a card, choose two of your opponent's rear-guard, and retire it.".

CONT](VC): If you have a card named "Blue Storm Dragon, Maelstrom" in your soul, this unit gets [Power]+2000.

[CONT](VC/RC): Leader (If you have a unit with a different clan from this unit, this unit cannot attack.)

this card has deffinatly earned a spot in my deck


next up : Dragonic Kaiser Vermillion "THE BLOOD"




again...badass artwork...just simply..badass *sheds tear of happiness*

even though im not a huge fan of narukami...this guy just makes me wanna make a narukami deck

u guys feel free to make guesses on effects since exulpate took the atk all rear guards at once...i dont have a guess for this guy lol

and last but not least : the one we thought was gonna be a spectral duke crossride : Convicting Dragon, Chrome Jailer Dragon

its sad really...i really wanted ren to have a crossride like season one..aichi doesnt even need one...he can just lucksack a battlefield storm with LB and get passed any Xride lol



no effect to date...maybe tomarrow...by then end of the week at most

1. Goddes of sun is NOT SITUATIONAL And it's a very powerful yet card.
2. PEzel sucks.
3. Illuminal is VERY Good as it gives you extra attacks when your field is Dire or it's a finisher, and since NG Can unflippety doo it's cb3 is nothing.
4. Glory is not gonna have that bad ability.
5. Blood is badass.
6. This is NOT Gonna be a CR.

The only one im interested in as most of the people here know is THE BLOOD. Im the biggest narukami fan here i hope his skill is a good one because then i can finally tap into the true power of Vermillion who is my avatar! HEs skill better be added soon

4.that effect isnt bad and i wanted it to be at least balanced for the deck's playstlye mixed with maeltrom's retire/draw effect

ezel doesnt kill GP's playstyle...it makes it stronger..GP's playstlye is to replenish units without killing too much hand. this card gives those replenished units a simple boost to make them stronger and make better atks to ur opp vg

It's 3 CB, No one almost runs Unflipper anymore. IUt has nothing to dop with GP's playstyle, and COSTS 3 CB!!! tHAT MEANS YOU CAN'T ALMOST USE SURPERIOR CALL SKILLS. tHUS, it kills it's Playstyle.

+1 Shibo. You get a power boost OR you call, you can't do both.

Sun is very good. Some cards can make you draw 1 for cb2 if it hits anything. Here you can chose what to add, so it's normal it'd have another restriction.
The only thing i don't like is that it doesn't help with the prediction style :'(

Though it helps misaki's playstyle of 'calculatin the next move' but adding needed cards, and any card which can add a PG To your hand get's a +1 from me, the fact that you jhave to reveal it isn't that bad either.

hahaha true i love the prediction style of OTT which is why i run tsukyomi lol

and btw shibo...as soon as platinum is added to byond my deck WILL GET STRONGER mwuahahahahaha

I would feel gipped. Because crossrides take away from other builds that need support and help.
